We made this recipe with Clarence Court eggs. Clarence Court eggs have rich orange yolks that not only taste good, but they also look great in recipes, adding a yellow glow to batters such as the one for these Yorkshire puds.

Serve immediately. You can now cool them and freeze for up to 1 month.
Frequently asked questions
Can you use self raising flour for Yorkshire puddings?
No, as self-raising flour contains raising agents which will result in flat, unrisen Yorkshire puddings. Plain flour will give you the best fluffy, risen results.
Can I cook Yorkshire puddings in an air fryer? (Include cooking time)
You can, cook for 10-12 mins at 180C. Check out our recipe for air fryer yorkshire puddings here.
What is the best oil for making Yorkshire puddings?
Any neutral oil such as vegetable or sunflower oil will yield best results due to their high smoking points, as the fat needs to be hot enough to ensure that quick rise.
