RECIPE TIPS
WILL KEEP FOR UP TO THREE DAYS

The pie will keep for up to three days if well wrapped. Warm through for 10 mins before serving.

BAKE IN A LARGE OVENPROOF DISH OR PAN

This is best baked in a large tin (dimensions 30x40x4cm) that will conduct heat well (not ceramic). A large ovenproof frying pan or even a baking tray will do the job, but we found a paella pan best in testing. You can buy one online.

METHOD FOR USING A HAND WHISK

If you are using a hand whisk rather than a stand mixer to make the cookie dough, then you will need stir the flour into the sugar and butter mixture and then kneed together by hand, before finally kneeding in the chocolate chips.
